The Path I Choose For Myself

It feels as if I’ve lost my place in this world

Along with the peace inside myself

I’m on a path

Better yet, a journey, as I look at it

Trying to fight my way through each day

Finding the path that’s meant for me

A path filled with eternal inner peace

Where I can love myself in complete bliss

No words

No actions

That may be thrown at me

Like an anchor trying to pull me back down

Can’t even break the strength I’m showing myself I have

Each day I will get better

Every day I will get stronger

I will never run away or go back on my word

I will never give up
